This is why I stay away from most car meets these days, there's always someone who finds out their ambition exceeds their talent when its too late!

Probably V sensible to stay away from car meets, Seen the clips on a few sites now the roads around the Trafford centre are bad at any times, with far too many people that don't understand roundabouts, cant judge speeds, or know which lane to be in, then add the likes of the Jag driver or the Merc and its pretty obvious what's going to happen.
I'm surprised there where not more accidents.

A bigger post on this on piston heads, if facebook / piston heads to be believed, the jag was owner by a 22 years old RAF pilot, the Merc was a rental !

The worst part of that video is the crowds reaction, all they were interested in was taking photos there were probably 10 morons already talking pictures before someone actually opened the car door to see if the guy was hurt.

gotta say that merc driver was a Cockadoodle. Wonder if its because they were RWD they all lost control with the immense power, and lack of the driver actually knowing what the car can do...

It's exactly because they're rear drive and big power. It's sometimes easy to forget how effective a four wheel drive chassis is for keeping you on the straight and narrow.

He must have turned the ESP etc. off though as you would be hard pushed to crash there with it on even if you were trying.

Nothing worse than people trying to show off in cars which are just too powerfull for them.

I've always wondered why these sort of people with very expensive cars would cruise around London in a crowd full of chavs and find it fun? If they can afford these types of cars then why the fcuk don't they go out on track or pay for racing tuition? That would be a hell of a lot more fun than doing this sort of sh!te? Seriously.... ??
