If they are covers can you not make them into a air flow intake or something.
But then what do I know |

Can u not make a air flow intake so the air comes in from the fog light . With a bit of work . Or will that not work . Even if u run a pipe . Or is it a big no . ( it will not work )
but on modified cars it certainly does. my airfilter is in the drivers side inner wing and oil cooler in passenger side. what i dont get is he has gone to the trouble of creating an sti rep from a wrx so why not just stick the sti stickers on the fogs too? |

Is it an sti rep? Would that be the rear spoiler that does that?:lol1:

Any way . I have seen the air filter u have got . Do it give u a lot more power or is it just runs better. P.s are not not worried out water getting in. So the air pipe I was talking about at the front fog can be done. Cool thank u Fat T |

But you want a jdm rear wiper on a WRX?!? :cuckoo:
:lol1::thumb: That's for a practical reason, simples, no other reason that I like to clear the rear screen when driving. I would also put folding mirrors on too, not to copy JDM but to stop clowns damaging them in a car park. |

there's a set up for sale somewhere on here, but you need the hawk interior switch which is harder to come by as the older newages have the mirror switch in center console where as the facelift blob/hawk have the switch in door card
Not in too much of a rush to be honest, I'll grab them when the next one comes along. |
Folding mirrors is a nice touch, I also like the rear screen wiper, hated not having one on my first blob as it's nice to know if plod are on your tail before you boot it, especially on the motorway. :thumb:
|
I like the folding mirrors as parking around my manner is not good . & car do get near to the parked car .
And let's face it if someone hits someone elses mirror are they going to stop if not seen , ( no) let's not even start on going to a car park to do shopping . The back wiper is handy to have as well . |
If it were my car, and aside from any STi 'looky-likey' comments, I think the WRX fog lamps are too useful to be covered up with STi parts purely for cosmetic reasons. :thumb:
After all it is a WRX, why try and make it look like something it isn't? Next thing you know you'll be fitting a Spec C roof vent in it. Don't laugh, it's been done :D ;) |

Can't I just stick a fake one on :lol1::lol1::lol1::lol1::lol1: |
Lol you could put a 22b kit on it .
It's a WRX what's the harm in that. It's still quick . And u can get it up to 300 Bhp plus. & that's a fast road car . At the end of the day it a WRX no sham in that . |
I have no shame at all in it being a WRX, its my daily work horse for commuting 50 miles each way. So it does the job nicely.
If I want an STI I will just go ut an buy one, but I dont......... YET!!:D |
Good reply .
That's what I think when i want more power and to upgrade I will get a type r . Or just a 2005 WRX sti . I only do 6 miles a day 12 in total. It's a grate car to have . I don't think there is any sham in having a WRX . Same as some of the other members go for the uk2000. It's still a Subaru . & when it's your 1st Subaru a WRX is not a bad place to start from . |
Cap jack. I just looked at your pics of your car it's nice mate . You got a nice cleen Subaru there mate .
