Z4 ecu

Hi there dose any Body know what you need to run a z4 on v2 with td05 turbo??

cushti 18 September 2014 11:41 AM

Nothing I can think of. The Z4 is mapped to the TD05 so all is good if you're fitting them at the same time, it's all plug & play.

All other engine ancilliaries & sensors on UK or Imports are the same on pre-facelift V1 & V2 including injector sizes (grey 380s).

Version 2 (94-96) WRX had this ecu as standard.

It have a 93 wrx uk so should be ok to put the z4 on with tdo5h then?

Have you checked what ECU & turbo you currently have fitted?

myblackwrx 18 September 2014 12:34 PM

Yes
Used to run one in my old 93 WRX.
Small boost increase and a better fuelling map was a more pleasant drive.

I know the UK saloons had TD04s fitted as standard but you never know what previous owners have done unless you've looked already.

the pre facelift uk saloon and wagons both came with tdo5 turbos as standard

cushti 18 September 2014 05:33 PM

You're right. TD04s were on the early import wagons. Thread cleaned up
