Is is possible to have a parcel shelf re-flocked ?
 

The black rear parcel shelf on the wife's car is a mess. It has that fuzzy sort of surface (flocked at manufacture ?) but is stained and dirty. Is it possible to have a flocked surface re-flocked or not ?
Anyone know ?

clean it and spray it a dark colour, seen it on wheeler dealers

you could flock it, but then it will attract hairs and dust like a mofo

Question- spray it with what ? Do you mean an aerosol paint spray of some sort?

yes you can but it take the same feel and look as the surface it is glued to

Everything attracts dust jodie;),but the spray finish that you mentioned is a good idea though,it all depends what look that he wants to achieve,but for the rear shelf i would most probably go with the spraying option:thumb:.SJ.

a halfords can of car panel paint

grey, satin black that sort of thing.

so long as it's not gone bald here and there i'm sure spraying it with a couple of coats will look good,

before and after photos would be good
