Is there any DAB ariels any good
Just bought the pioneer avic f60dab and paying extra for the dab, i thought it be worth it but now having it and bought the internal ariel that sticks on the window from the audio shop costing £35 from car audio cetre in notts. I get 14 station ok but soon as i start driveing it starts going on and off with loosing signal. The power feed is turned on on the unit.
Am i write in thinking the stick on ariels are rubbish and i doubt the audio shop will say anything Is there any better ones about |
Yes the stick on aerials aren't that good, best with a proper aerial. I've gone for a sharkfin aerial from dabonwheels for £70, supposed to be very good but haven't fitted it yet so can't back that up. Had mine colour coded.

I've got the pioneer window one. Works great. Did you stick the copper strip onto the vehicle frame?
