He prays on anyone,he will show you lots of shiny parts all super high end stuff Pretend to be your best friend,come and have dinner with your family then take your car and your money.

The police need info so we can put an end to this

He is known to operate in

Gloucestershire,Wiltshire,Birmingham,London,Wales and probably further afield

There are many cars and parts missing and not to mention ££££££

The car was entrusted to him to sell as he had a guaranteed buyer,sadly the V5 was given to him along with the car to sell. The owner failed to receive a penny and as far as we can make out the car was taken from this new owner with promise of a super engine build and never returned .

Please tell me you haven't had you're car stolen?

Not stolen as such I have a Supercharged 98 spec Jdm Honda integra worth a fortune he has failed to return .. I think many people have had the same experience ..

What No. model was it ?

The guy has had people in for £100s.000.
We need everyone who has has or had sour dealings with this guy to come forward so we can all have a meet somewhere and take all the information to the appropriate authorities to deal with him. Believe it or not he is still fully operational and hard at work doing what he does best !!!

They must have three scams and takes it in turn. Giving time for the dust has settle before restarting the same old scam.

He has talents with cars mapping engine building but his other talents outshine the rest

Suppose you're right, some of these con men are bloody good.
Not sure I'd get caught out like that but who knows.

Just received a private message form another victim! I`ve since spoken to him on the phone and this Scmit character was given his P1 over 3 years ago to build an engine etc and he`s not seen the car since.How many more!!??

get all the info together and go the police nail the *******

I'm sure this has already been done, victims talking and presenting evidence to the Police etc etc but nothing has ever come of it.

I know from a conversation I just had with Gloucestershire CID ( who have been very helpfull I hasten to add )that there patience is wearing thin. I explained to the officer dealing with my case that we are in the process a collating all our information and will hand it to him.

Laughs. .. the world really is full of idiots isn't it. Do people not do the sufficient research before handing over keys? And v5 documents too? I'm wowed at people's naivety.

Listen guys we know we`ve been naive but we don`t need reminding of it we just don`t want anyone else to be so stupid! He`s like every CON MAN out there they are very good at gaining your confidence. I`d known him for nearly 2 years before this happened

Darren, is your involvement with this fella a recent affair or are we talking a long period of time?.....My point being, it must be 2/3 years since I last heard of this South African guy ripping people off in the same manor....(I'm sure it was in Wales)

Back then, victims were getting together and presenting evidence to the Police(the same as what you are trying to do no) So does you history with this guy stretch back to then or has he set up again in a different part of the Country pulling off the same tricks?

This particular issue has been going on for over a year .

We do know a few of the other victims and are in talks but really need to find more evidence.

He is defiantly still up to his old tricks in the Scooby world and beyond

Every account is the same empty promises and total and utter B*lls*it not to mention cars missing .. we know of more victims but they are still under the delusion that there car is coming back as a world rally car and wont help.

CID is willing to listen but we need the support of the Scoobynet community to nail this once and for all.

So how come the people from a few years ago never managed to nail this guy? Where are they now? Where are the cars they lost?

If there is hard evidence he has commited these offences how is he still trading?

One thing is for sure, you'll get no joy from the police until he gets caught speeding in one of the said motors ;) then the registered keeper will get a NIP in the post and all hell will break lose.:lol1:
