Possibly could of introduced yourself a little better fella but welcome along to the Welsh section of ScoobyNet :thumb:
IMO I think you will struggle to find the deal your looking for unless you go to a trader who has one in stock so maybe your best option is to sell your van first and then look for the Subaru. :thumb:

Apologies hi all better to start on a good note,
problem I have is I need a vehicle for work so unable to sell van first been scoping the web but no local cars for sale an I don't wanna waste my time going over the bridge for dog. Trade isn't a problem aslong as there's something decent. Thanks for the heads up

You'll possibly be waiting a long time butty.

Cannon Fodder got his car from Kent via Essex, I got mine from Birmingham and some people have even imported direct from Japan.

It's not a myth but over the last few years many Scoobs have been bought by knob ends who either modded them to death or tried to maintain them on a budget. Neither are good ideas it ends in tears. Moving from a Berlingo Diesel to a Scoob will cost you at least 60% more to do the same mileage.

FFS don't rush to buy one.

So, a few questions.

What's your budget?
What year are you looking at?
UK or JDM?
Your age and where do you live? (Insurance)
Have you owned a Scoob before?

Here's a local UK car.

Come to the local meet on the 17th Sept at J30 of the M4. Pandora's Box will be opened :thumb:

Thanks for advice trooper,
I'm well prepared for the high costs but you only live once
I've had sports cars in the past xr3i, astra gte twice and fast bikes I kno these aint big cars like a scoobys but not un used to a bit of speed

as for budget 7000 with van 5500
I live in Rhymney valley
I'm 46
Do I pass the test?

The Trooper 1815 26 August 2014 06:26 PM

Hi mate,

No funny tests with us or wearing of Club Shirts. Your certainly old enough to be in.

You are right on the edge of the budget for a good and well maintained Wide Track STi, even looking on Pistonheads there arn't any in sight. Why not come to the next meet and see what we can talk you onto.

You'll miss this one if it goes on Thursday too!
