classic scoob, high miles?

Hi all. Trying to get back into the subaru seen after selling my old blob and still missing it. So this time im going to get a classic. Budgets a bit tight so im looking at getting a little project and doing it over a year or so. Been offered a uk 2000 s plate with 140k on the clock for £1200 ono. Is this a good buy? And is it to high a mileage? What sort of parts are likely to start to fail on me? In the future I will be looking to upgrade parts like suspension.turbo.injectors.intercooler etc. Any help appreciated! Many thanks

Dont know if this will help, but heres what I paid out over last year:

Cost of car £1200 - 1995 WRX imported in 2000

Full service, belts oil etc.. 150 quid
4 pot front callipers and godspeed discs front/read 250
new boot, old one leaked 50
new rear drive shafts, lucky i found some cheap 2nd hand ones, fitted 70 quid
Then discovered rear suspension strut was f***ed, so got 2 2nd hand ones fitted 100...
respray bonnet and boot and wings 250
new tyres 500
new air filter 30
new MAF 30
new intercooler 35

So thats about 1500 worth of running repairs, MOT is due in 3 weeks, have very worn rear subframe mounts as advisory from last year, so thats incomming lol
Also my turbo needs replacing cos it smoke on full hoon.

Might give you some idea of a classics running costs ;)
I wouldnt swap it though, and neither would my gf let me!
