blue smoke
can over filling your scooby result in blue smoke ? i dont think my turbo is bust because it still pulls hard and the smoke is only every 10 starts can anybody reassure me lol
the smoke is from the oil being burnt which normally from the turbo seal, im no expert but i guess the turbo can still work normally and the seal can be gone, even worse could it be a piston ring gone
Is your car a 2.5? I get it with my car also
If so this can explain it https://www.scoobynet.com/showpost.p...0&postcount=22 |
Overfilling with what?.
Oil?
Yeah it is a 2.5 iv been told that of you overfill the engine oil it will burn some of it of providing it not to excessive. Its only just started to do it since i put oil in
have you checked the level with the dipstick
I guessed it was oil but not stated in the first post,if overfilled then drain some off i never fill mine more than three quarters full.
If it was overfilled it would be doing it all the time, not just 1 in every 10 starts
Cheers for the help chap I had the turbo checked today and its fine its the subaru dealer said the same as gambit
