New brakes at last.
Finally got me new brakes, discs and pads fitted.
Painted by me with hammerite. Forgot to take a pic before they went on, sorry! Only thing now is I still have red rear calipers. http://i1350.photobucket.com/albums/...ps221b0301.jpg http://i1350.photobucket.com/albums/...pse5cd4396.jpg |
Very nice. I have never seen the wrx pro, they usually say Subaru. Are they quite rare?
|
They are copies of the factory ones so aftermarket , think they have stainless pistons
|
Nice to see something different...v nice :thumb:

They were from god speed. Just carefully painted the embossed lettering
|
The WRX Pro calipers do not have stainless steel pistons. I ran some whilst I refurbished my Subaru ones. They felt the same though to be honest. :thumb:
The biggest change in braking performance has come from the Godspeed grooved discs and kevlar pads all round. Brake feel is now very positive, even when just using them gently around town. Very impressed and a bargain for the money. |
Always look nice having a decent set of calipers I think :)
Ran the Godspeed grooved discs/Kevlar pads and with the stainless steel pistons they stopped extremely well :) Now moved onto Brembos with the same package :) |
Just running in the pads at the moment only done 200 miles on them. Not feeling it yet
Was gonna paint calipers blue, glad I didnt |
