Uk2000? What's the specs

Phyllis31 14 July 2014 06:27 AM

engines only had a bailey dump valve and a stainless exhaust system.

Welcome, any plans?

I'd get the stickers gone and get some nice alloys, then you will have a slick scooby :thumb:

LSherratt 14 July 2014 11:08 AM

Don't get me wrong but he probably bought it because of the stickers. It looks OK but in my opinion it would look a lot better without the livery and a good clean. We're all different though :).

Phyllis31 14 July 2014 11:12 AM

I bought it as it was a cheap trade in at a local dealer.

Stickers arent really my thing but they dont really bother me as i know if i take them off it will highlight the numerous small dents and scratches it has all over. im only planning on keeping it a year i want a hawkeye sti next year.

jaygsi 14 July 2014 04:01 PM

I can't see that removing the stickers will make it look worse bud.

I bought a green one like this with a sticker kit on it without an engine to fix up a bit, after putting the engine in I started taking the stickers off only to find that some plonker had had both rear quarters repaired and had lacquered over the stickers.

jaygsi 14 July 2014 04:27 PM

Really Stu, ouch thats anoying, what you do?

Here you go Phyllis i've even found you a facelift front bumper

Ended up getting both quarters repainted. So have a good check before you take them off. If you like them leave them on.

Nice car mate. I love the classic, stickers not to my taste but look ok. I would lose the bailys dv aswell, the car will run and sound better without imo.

I agree it would look better with them off but sometimes they are hiding things or they take the paint off when removing them.

Phyllis31 15 July 2014 01:13 AM

Stickers will probaly stay cant be bothered with peeling them off.

the rear arches are bubbling it has loads of tiny dents all over and if i take them off i think it will highlight its flaws!

need to know something though is it ok to run it on tesco momentum as i am at the moment as ive never seen the fuss with vpower.

john147 15 July 2014 04:11 AM

looks great car

jaygsi 15 July 2014 10:08 AM
