Reputable Forged Built Engine Sellers?
 

I am looking at possibly buying a crated, forged engine that will be spec'd at handling 400+bhp, 2L Bugeye STI.

I am not looking at rebuilding mine, but essentially trading my engine in for one that has been looked over with a fine-toothed comb and re-engineered and rebuilt with forged internals capable of making big power.

Anybody got any recommendations on local UK suppliers of such a crated engine and what vague ballpark figure I could be looking at? Ta.

EDITTED: I suppose a complete rebuild might be on the cards, but as I understand it, a crated one built to spec is probably going to be cheaper and far more reliable than the work mine would probably need. Reason being - engine blew up and still awaiting diagnosis on whether it chewed up the internals or just blew the gaskets and heads
