Fitting classic arch flares, easy?
Im thinking about getting some abw arch flares for my 4 door classic later on this year, and was wondering if anyone has any useful information, step by step pictures, or general advice that would be helpful
Thanks in advance Steve |
i had a brief look into it, looks like you mark where they are going to sit, cut the arches out, weld up the new cuts then bolt on the new arches
|
Yeah, ive been looking into it for a while and in theory it sounds quite easy. I just wanted to hear from poeple that have actually done it that can offer any advice or show any pictures they took of the process
|
NO ITS NOT EASY
|
didnt mean to shout caps lock on lol
i fitted the slimline bond on ones so was alot harder because the moulded edges were a bit dodgy. the other bit is once you cut into it is sorting out the rust you might be horribly surprised |
Nobody?

Like to see a pic of what u going for . & how far did you get.

I started to look at fitting mine last night.
They are a crap fit and I can't even figure out which way they need to go! Any guidance would be appreciated |

Yeah they may well do, but that is hundreds of miles away, to be honest a set of bolt on arch extensions should fit without any problems....
