Nice mouse

I'm after a good wireless mouse that doesn't have lag, I have an HP wireless one and it plays up loads as it has so much delay when you try and move it and sometimes you seem to loose where the pointer is as it appears to disappear.

Is it worth me paying out for a gaming mouse? or is there anything better I need to look for?

bioforger 28 June 2014 09:18 PM

I've got one of those logitech unified wireless ones, no lag at all, loads of buttons and 3yr battery life, nice to use. I use one usb adapter (the unified type) which also works with a logitech keyboard, so no need for multiple USB devices.

Littleted 28 June 2014 10:21 PM

Logitech here too great mice, black lasers in the higher model are better on all surfaces

albob 28 June 2014 10:57 PM

or get one with a wire ;)

alcazar 29 June 2014 12:56 PM

Just chucked an Acer one...it was OK but the wireless keyboard ate batteries.

Gone back to wired.

Do you need small (for travel), or is it for a desktop? Which OS?

stevebt 29 June 2014 02:02 PM

In which case, Logitech are the way to go. I have a Performance MX, which has excellent battery life, excellent pick-up, and is comfortable in the hand.

stevebt 29 June 2014 05:01 PM

Bloody hell just had a look on ebay and its £40 for the MX :) I'm not that keen :D

In this case, you most definitely get what you pay for. I paid nearly twice that when new and consider it was good value - after all, that was over 3 years ago!

CREWJ 30 June 2014 04:11 PM

I have a Razer Orochi, it's never failed me yet and there is absolutely no lag. Comes as wired and wireless (detachable wire). A tad on the expensive side though I must add.

Tidgy 30 June 2014 04:50 PM

i went away from wireless, adn have to say does seem to be more responsive. Got one of these,

AndyC_772 30 June 2014 09:16 PM

I have a Logitech 'Anywhere MX' wireless. It works really well on all kinds of surfaces, but it has terrible wireless range and eats batteries. Can't recommend it :(

stevebt 01 July 2014 09:30 AM

By the sounds of it I think I will have to pay a lot more for a good mouse than I originally thought :)

Tidgy 01 July 2014 12:13 PM

hahaha, youc an get chinese copies on amazon and ebay for cheap enough, just depends on what you want.

Damn kindle. Ment to say also razor' s build quality.

The madcat I found wanted to lift at the front when your hand is resting on it, giving a false reading, felt nice in the hand though.

I've tried a few mice over the years and really like the roccat, gave up with wireless as the always run out at a really important stage, time etc

stevebt 01 July 2014 08:14 PM

I have just bought a new monitor and due to its high res the lag is even worse now

stevebt 03 July 2014 07:42 PM

I have narrowed my choice down to these two mice, which would you choose considering both get excellent reviews?

Great mouse thought had it at least 2 years now and still works pin perfect no lag at all

bioforger 09 July 2014 09:21 AM

Littleted 09 July 2014 09:43 AM
