Well the sad day has arrived.

I will be parting with my Scooby tomorrow morning http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif in p/x for a Lotus. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Whilst I am looking forward to getting to grips with my new car, I have never felt the same level of regret about having to let a car go.

I will really miss my scoob and am sure I will have another one within 12 - 18 months.

I would like to thank everybody for unmeasurably increasing the pleasure of owning a Scooby. This BBS is a fabulous resource and the people who frequent it make up a wonderful community.

I will continue to post messages, if thats OK. I will probably join in with Mike Rainbird in telling you all what girlie cars you have (no offence penni!) http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

All the best

See you on the other side.

Simon

Never mind Simon, but I bet you won't be able to throw that Lotus around like a good old scoob ........ but on second thoughts having sat next to you on that circuit you probably will !!

best of luck

Tis a sad feeling when the scooby goes, had that in june when I said goodbye to the blackbeast. I really do miss it out here, as it'd be lots of fun in the snow :D

Good luck with the Lotus, would be interesting to see if it could break the sideways record, somehow I think not!

ian_sadler 29 January 2004 03:41 PM
