VBox Sport - anyone use one and compare it to santa pod etc?
 

Hi guys,
As topic, I'm Looking for a good GPS data logger with a powerful GPS engine for development on some stuff and wondered if any of you have any real world experience with this Racelogic unit? On paper it certainly ticks all the boxes. Going to hit the purchase button at tea time if I don't read anything bad, so thought it worth a quick as with you guys as it's likely right up some of your streets.

I have one which I've only used for some power runs thus far and it's figures were reasonably consistant with my RR figures at RCM, so that has to be a thumbs up.
I plan to use it on my next time up at Santa Pod in July but the start is a bit of a handfull for me and it may or may not happen.
On circuit, suction mounted devices aren't allowed, so thwarted there as it would be ideal for that.
It seems good but I haven't exploited it enough thus far.

Thanks for your input Trev. I want to gauge real world performance increases from mods, IE... 50-70 in top gear etc and maybe 0-100-0 times and wonder just how consistent it is. It certainly seems to be one of the best on the market judging by specs and software support, but it's always worth an ask to see what comes up from real end users.

Went ahead and bought one, it works really well on both phone, and PC.
