Irritating seatbelt rattle

Hi. I`ve got a rattle/vibration that seems to come from one of the rear seatbelt inertia rolls; It`s driving me mad, and is also quite a distraction. At least, that`s where my kids tell me the noise is coming from. Anyone else experienced or fixed this problem? Thanks

Depending what car you have?
54 Blob STi I had.

It was an annoying rattle, turned out to be the boot torsion springs needed a spray with WD40.

They run across the back / top of the rear seats in the boot.

Good point; blob 05 wagon, so probably not hinges. I`ll take apart what I can to have a look. Thanks for suggestion.

Good luck , I have a rattle that sounds like it's at the front till you turn your head and realise it's from the back. Then just when you pull the car apart and the rattle stops either a new one appears or the old one returns !

I recon that'sywhy scoobies are loud , to drown out all the rattles :)

Yeah I know what you mean; uprated arbs and droplinks seem to make it rattle everywhere, but this one is particularly irritating, being so high pitched and fast. I have another one at the back, like a churrr, but only when I turn into lefts at lower speeds! I`ve been searching for the source for a couple of years!! Was just hoping someone knew of a quick fix.
