Anyone local with a fault reader?
Hi folks
My car is idling quite low (around 400-500rpm) when warmed up and has indeed stalled a couple of times. On Sunday whilst idling, I had the EML light illuminate for about a minute then went off again so presume a fault code was generated. Occasionally the idle also hunts around. Car in general drives spot on, boosts well, no weird noises, doesn't overheat, good oil pressure etc and when the engine is cold it idles at around 1700rpm but settles down quickly the warmer it gets A search points me to the IACV may need a clean. ive today ordered a new gasket for it, so was wondering if anybody can read the fault code just to check its not anything else? (and maybe help me clean the IACV :norty::norty::norty:) in exchange for some beer tokens Cheers Dan |

I would say ICV I had the type r one out to clean.
I'm not sure if a dirty ICV would bring up EML?? Not sure Darcy |

Although JDM cars struggle with most off the shelf OBDII readers. :(
