Totally Gutted - Arson

Bank holiday weekend (4th of May) - had a knock on the door Old bill there.

Are you the owner of a blue Subaru :(

Car had been torched - houses opposite had to be evacuated CID now - involved as there was endangerment to life.

A similar incident occurred locally police are seeing if linked.

Just be wary out there

Sunday Morning has a knock on the door answered to find a copper and this

Do you think you have to piss off these lazy cnuts who have nothing else better to do and all the time in the world do it in;)except when there sighing on at the welfare office. All they do is see what people own by working hard and knowing that they can't afford things, and then whine themselves up with envy until they can't take it anymore and want people to pay for there own "whatlessness" i.e FAILURES.If I ever caught anyone doing that to my things,i can't print what I would personally do to them, but they would not be leaving the scene breathing unaided.SJ.

I saw this on the back of a lorry on the M20 the other day. Was heading off coast bound with a load of other damaged cars. First thing I thought was, why didn't he take the front mount off before it was crushed.

Hopefully karma will catch up with them mate.

gazzawrx 14 May 2014 05:01 PM

Theres probably quite a few bits that were still salvageable off it tbh, the lump and box for one.

theres too many twats in this country now, its rapidly going down the pisser and theyre isnt any way of stopping it.

dabiscuit 14 May 2014 06:42 PM

Holy sheet balls! Really feel for you mate.

thenewgalaxy 14 May 2014 06:57 PM

Stating the obvious, that's a write off.

I really feel for the OP here. An act of supreme idiocy. The fire has done a number on the Passat too, the front of that engine can't be looking too good.

Points to consider - you may have been targeted by someone jealous, or someone who has just noticed a car that stands out. Also, are there any people nearby who don't like Subarus? Bit of a big exhaust that might have offended a neighbour? Could just be a local nutter or gang with nothing better to do with their pathetic lives.

In many of these cases it's always a loss to the victim even with insurance etc. Try and take the positives from this such as getting a better car out of it. Might be worth getting the new car parked in a garage or somewhere with CCTV on it.

Hope it all gets sorted.

motofox01 14 May 2014 07:03 PM

Fook me mate sorry to see that!!..Hope you get to find the w@nker that did it when you happen to have a baseball bat full of 6" nails in your hand...

Norman Dog 14 May 2014 07:33 PM

OP, do you think it was personal? :wonder:

Although the world's full of pieces of sh!t that think doing things like that is a good laugh... :brickwall

LUCKO 14 May 2014 09:15 PM

some young punk who did this wont be able to not boast to some other c0ck cheese he torched a subaru and got away scott fre etc so hopefully the plod will end up finding out and arrest made

arson carries a large sentence???

crazy times

NormantheDog 14 May 2014 09:58 PM

Can't believe you never heard sirens or saw the fire do you park a lot further down the street from your own front door did this upset someone?

Was just going to mention this, obv targeting these sort of cars probably due to jealousy :( sorry to hear mate! Can't have anything nice these days

Fonzey 14 May 2014 11:25 PM

I've had two cars vandalised in the past, neither at my home and neither by anybody who's had any past relationship/knowledge of me.

Luckily(?) the offender got "caught" on both occasions, one was a minor who couldn't be charged so I was left £1000 out of pocket.

The "you must have pissed somebody off" thing is rarely accurate, and it's quite irritating/hurtful to be told it when you've just lost your Pride and Joy when you're an innocent victim.

Hope you have a good experience with insurance, and hopefully it's a one off.
