Seen this on pistonheads a few times, hope the price is a little more realistic when it goes up :)

No idea of price yet, but bear in mind I will be offering it with a 12-month warranty (as I do with all my used Subaru's), which on a 16 year old car, especially one as non-standard as this is not going to be cheap, as well as having it serviced, fully valeted etc

gc8-r 08 May 2014 02:58 PM

I'd only have it if it had....
A years free insurance and 0% finance....

Then I'd have it ;)

76,000 miles, and around about £12k subject to warranty costings which I still have to confirm, as it will come with a 12 month warranty on the car, but as I am sure you can imagine, with this much modification, it is not an easy policy to underwrite, especially as I want a quality policy, not a token one.

looks lovely but saying the engine is closed deck block means nothing to the ppl in the know. proper description of engine and mods is needed and which ecu?

It means plenty to people in the know, I think you meant it means nothing to people that don't have a clue. ;)

lol what i meant is that cdb is thrown around like it is the be all and end all of tuning a subaru. as you know a standard cdb engine is quite weak.

Thats a bit more then I was looking to pay .sorry mate am sure it's worth it . I got around 5k to play with .
Don't no what to do . I.e get one more Subaru . And make mine into a track car for fun days out. Or keep mine and do all the mods to it . I no I would never get my cash back for the car if I put 2/3k into it . But that's life. It's not about the cash it's about having fun and loving the car you drive.

chrisl25lnf 25 July 2014 06:19 AM

I will have it because it has the extra power from the close deck block lol why not post the spec of the engine up closed deck is worth nothing unless used in a high powered build.
