Can anyone recommend a courier?

I'm buying an exhaust from someone on here who is about 70 miles away, has anyone used a courier service for collection and delivery?

Cheers

Yeah mate ive used and will be using again over the weekend 'p4d'. Used them a few times and have been faultless. I usually see which is the cheapest between those and 'parcelmonkey'

Dan.

If its only 70 miles surely its cheaper to just go get it...?

Costs about twenty quid to get a it delivered. Assuming the op is in his car then no

I use my Hermes for anything I send/receive. Weigh it on the bathroom scales, measure it and put it in online. Print it off and wait for them to collect on day of your choice. Usually 2 days and its with you. Can pay extra for Saturday delivery etc. I sent a complete rear shock off a motocross bike, about 500mm long weighed 12kg and if I remember it was £7.50 to post. Always worth a look! They ain't too fussy either if your scales aren't bang on which is super.

thanks guys - going with paisley, much cheaper than a 140mile round trip in the scoob!

I used City Link for collection of an exhaust through www.parcel2go.com

Collection was booked for yesterday, arrived today as expected, cost £10.79 :thumb:

Just for info, Paisley Freight don't actually do any of the courier work themselves, they contract it out to City Link, TNT etc.

For extra info, Yodel are absolute sh1te. :D

I always use interparcel's economy service which is basically UPS who I have never had an issue with.
