Carcodes Cosford Brunch -Sun 11th May

Many of you will be familiar with the Midlands Breakfast Club which ran for over 5 years and became one of the most anticipated meets on the Midlands car calendar! The event often had over 300 cars turn up with marques ranging from Datsuns to Deloreans! A big thank you needs to go out to Coxy for arranging these meets and putting up with some of the cr@p associated with holding car eventsthumbup

The Midlands Breakfast Club is unfortunately no more frown but I have the personal backing of Coxy to reinvent the meet and I am pleased to announce one event (initially) for 2014! The event which follows the same format will be known as: Carcodes Cosford Brunch

Further information can be found here: Carcodes Cosford Brunch website and please feel free to have a mooch around the site as there are big savings for petrolheads!

The meet runs officially from 09:00 till Midday, and people are allowed to park up in the main area from 08:30 onwards. The only charge is the car park fee to the RAF Museum which is £2.50.
Breakfast is available from the main cafe from 09:00 - 11:00 where they serve bacon and sausage baps, hash browns, tea and coffee and hot chocolate.

Entry to the RAF Museum is also free so an excellent excuse to get your car out for a drive and bring the family along so it keeps everyone happy.

There are a few rules which need to be pointed out, as we have been given strict instructions by RAF Cosford to provide a safe trouble free meet. If we fail to do this then future events will not happen, so please please treat the car parks and access roads like your grans care home!

If you have any questions then please email me via the Carcodes website.

Lets make this the most enjoyable, safe but fun meet of 2014!

There is a website and a facebook group which can be found here:

Read somewhere we can only park on the 2 car parks out the front which holds 260 cars?? so no cars on the grass or near the hangers, so if there are 10 of you coming there only another 250 spaces to go!!!:Suspiciou

In past years there are way more cars then what the car park can hold, and looking on other forums there are lots of car clubs going to this, so im wondering how they are going to accommodate all the cars!!!:wonder:

scotty44 10 May 2014 07:43 PM

Every club should of booked their space, I spoke top Paul a few days ago and they were fully booked so only the visitors parking left which will be first come etc...

Enjoyed today, was nice to see a few cars there!! And enjoyed the trip round the museum, even found a aeroplane which has the same problem as the 2.5 litre Impreza engine, the piston rings only lasted 15 hours of flight!!!;)

Best car of the day for me!! Renault 5 Turbo 2(rear engine thing):luvlove::notworthy
