Who's entered the VLM2015 then?
 

I've got my name in the ballot, never Ran a marathon so quite looking forward to it!

After seeing the atmosphere this year I thought why not give it a go!

I really ought to do one; I'm a runner with no plans to race further than about 10 miles. That's no good.

There's something like 500k applications for the 38k places so if you want to do the distance I would consider something slightly more picturesque like Keilder or Brighton where you stand a better chance of getting in. :)

Brother got in first attempt this year so hopefully I have the same luck

I've tried the ballot once a few years back but didn't get in - forgot about this year :rolleyes:

Bagged my entry for the Yorkshire Marathon in October back in January - roll on the start of my proper training plan in June.

I had an entry this year but got injured 10 days before. Have been able to defer the entry until next year, but am now running the Liverpool Marathon on 25th May.
I ran VLM in 2011 and it was an amazing experience. Ballot places are like hen's teeth, so don't hold your hopes too high.

It's an incredible day out and well worth the training. The ballot is capped at 125,000 entries for something like 25,000 places. The rest are charity, club and championship/ elite places.

Ran it this year and last.

The support along the route is amazing.
