Aunty Beeb is getting annoyed
at my TV licence dodging ways again.
Since moving into a new apartment about 8months ago or so. I have not renewed my TV licence because..... I don't need it or want it. The TVL chaps seems to be getting really annoyed because they don't know my name and are trying to take me to court for not tellin them! Worst of all, they can't gain access to the back of my house to see me not using the TV. They keep sending a chap out to say hello to me but seriously if I don't answer the door to friends if they haven't bothered to let me know they are calling around, what chance has the TVL chap got? |

I think we need someone to sue the BBC to say that being forced into buying a tv license infringes our civil rights :D

Ok it's the daily mail, but the story shows you have some hope.

I'm sure the tv license is like benefit fraud when it comes to exposing them, and its right as someone who bleeds the country dry from benefits when they sit on their couch should be classes in the same group as someone who watches the tv but doesn't have a license!

As someone who doesn't watch TV and doesn't even own a TV with a Freeview tuner. Why should I be harassed by them? Why do they need my details if I am not a "customer" of theirs.

If you own a property your on their radar and hance they think you should pay, and why not since the tv license fee is used to help with taxes similar to the car car tax!

Would you expect someone who doesn't drive or own a car to road tax?

Believe it or not, now even if you don't own a tv they still want you to pay for tv licence if you have internet access because of BBC iPlayer. I had all of this when I moved into my house, I don't agree with it at all as I hardly ever watch live TV but tbh I work too long and hard to be bothered having to deal with them and their crap and last thing I need is having to take a day off to court and justify my reasons for nothing.
