2001 JDM STI wiring questions Fuel/VSS
 

Hi,

I have two questions that i cant seem to answer.

I have a 2001 JDM STI 2L turbo going into another vehicle. so making up the wiring loom and have 2 out standing points.

1. The stock car had a Fuel pump controller, if this is disconnected will the car still run? or will the ECU go into some sort of limp home?

2. The stock car had a VSS off the GB, does this also need connecting for the ECU to operate? or can i leave the wire unconnected ?

If i have to connect it to my trans, id have to run it off a ABS sensor with 45 tooth ring on the drive shaft. does anyone know what the signal the ECU is looking for? i can always machine a few teeth off but need to know how many to remove...

any help would be much appreciated!
