Hid light code?
I have a bugeye wrx but looking into getting hids? But on some of them there asking bulb sizes h1,h2,h3 Etc? Would anyone know what ones I'll have to get as the standards lights are pretty shocking?
Thanks :) |
H7`s

sweet that's a lot easier than me getting the wrong ones haha. thanks man.

I though bugs were H4?

Which is it 7 or 4 lol

Can you not just take one out and check?
Google pics of the two, it will help, but the old one is liable to have the type stamped on the flange. If it's H4, I'd SERIOUSLY reconsider fitting HID's, the ones for H4 are cr@p. A b@stard contraption where you get decent dip, cr@p main beam, the reverse, or, more likely, both cr@p. You get more light but the scatter is awful. |
H4 if standard WRX headlights :thumb:
As above, H4 HIDs are terrible. I'd recommend just changing to a decent bulb. I find Osram Nightbreakers good. A lot cheaper and a lot less hassle than fitting HIDs!! If you really want HIDs I'd save up and get a set of JDM STi lights which are proper HID lights, look much better too ;) |
Awesome I'll be looking to change the front for a hawk one day so might hold out for a bit, my lights are fine just feel they could be better, might look into the Parma bulbs, thanks for the advice lads :)

Parma?
Do you mean PIAA? LOL if so. They are mahoosively overpriced and only as good as their nearest rivals. Try Osram Nightbreaker, Halfords Ultra Brilliance (when on BOGOF). Ring 120% uprated. Philips extreme vision. All are cheaper than PIAA but work as well. |
get projectors otherwise you will be blinding everyone and its really annoyin
