Nice one :thumb:
I'm not far behind you not had a cig for around 30 days and enjoying the vaping :)
Looks like a good site to try and free delivery
Got my flavours delivered today from No1juice so will see how I get on moving from the tobacco and menthol liquids

Rob_Impreza99 19 December 2014 03:59 PM

Good work GearHead, 33 days is good going, your over the worse bit. I could never go back to smoking, now i can't stand the smell of a cig, the whaft you get occasionally from someone smoking makes you think, how did i ever do that. It's chokey and horrible plus your clothes and breath smells of it.

JackClark 19 December 2014 05:46 PM

I smelt smoke on a friend who sneaked out for a fag the other day, i was chuffed with that, went out for a vape to celebrate.

bioforger 19 December 2014 08:30 PM

21 days so far n only 2 crafty fags in between, cigs taste gross now like others have said. I bought one last pack of fags as i thought the e-cig just wouldn't work, but i was wrong.

Sy5 19 December 2014 08:45 PM

Me and the wife have been smoke free since August and have only been using the EVOD clearo's with a spinner battery. Started on the mass produced Hangsen liquid and now on Vaping King. 12mg and planning on dropping again in the new year.

scotty44 19 December 2014 10:45 PM

Another TW fan here :D 18 years of smoking 20-25 a day down to 2 a day over night after buying a ecig, did this for a few months then as from 10th October this year not touched a smoke and felt like I need to

For me the cheap "market ecigs" didn't work but the TW stuff is spot on, yes you pay more but compare it to buying fags you save loads :thumb:

I did go a little OTT when I first started.... this is after 2 weeks of vaping

Now I just stick to what I like....red bull (red cow) and it works for me :norty:
Use a Tornado C in the day and a SVD at home, I do what to get a cloud chaser just to mess with after trying one a few months ago :lol1:

Matteeboy 19 December 2014 10:47 PM

Jesus, are you all bloody smokers?!

Wheezy old bar stewards. :lol1:

ven 19 December 2014 11:06 PM

Hey scotty ,nice collection of fluids there,i do the same (home brew). Certainly works out cheaper than buying ready made and too add, tweak to what suits be it more flavour/throat hit/vape.

I use this
http://www.c9v-forum.com/Resources/Calc/calc.htm

Pour into a 50ml beaker so just make 50ml a time x2 then store in one of the 100ml bottles that either the PG or VG came in . I decided from TW this time on the nicotine 72mg as £39.99 then 20% off...............found some 72mg 100ml for £17 delivered. However i still use their flav concentrates and VG/PG . I tend to use 60 VG and 40%PG for a smoother vape and less throat hit. Would use more VG but it fills the room with a cloud...........

That collection has grown more than double now :norty: but most are left in the box as I only vape one flavor lol
I used a calculator from TW when I first started, not got into making my own coils etc as I dont get much time to play :lol1: but if I do get a cloud chaser I will play a bit more, what nic are you using Ven? Only ever used TW as I have a rep just around the corner, might try somewhere else next time I need some ;)

ven 20 December 2014 12:25 AM

Last few bottles have been 72mg 100ml from TW as i use them 95% of time for fluids.

Last purchase was
http://www.goforsmoke.com/100ml-unfl...ine-9812-p.asp

Due soon so cant comment if any good(should be though)

Other than that i have started to buy 250mls of pg and vg to last longer. May even go for the 500ml nicotine next time:thumb:

Flavours wise..............i used to mainly have patriot flavours, more blue and blackberry. 18mg .

Now i am on bubblegum and mix for 18mg strength. Last order was 10 bubble gum,4 cherry and 4 cherry cascade.

ossett2k2 20 December 2014 04:42 PM

I moved away from the tobacco flavour juices and gave my first fruity ones a go,didn't think I would take to them but very nice indeed :)
1st flavour I tried was danger island
No1 E-Juice brings you another signature new flavour from their collection. Danger Island is the perfect blend of tropical islands sweet coconut with watermelon and a touch of creaminess.

2nd flavour is devil kiss
Devil Kiss is a perfect blend of a succulent sweet grape flavour followed by a subtle hint of mint taste that will leave you feeling like you had a sweet delicious treat. The sweet grape taste does not fade it stays on your tongue for a sweet flavour all the way through. The subtle mint is not too strong, not too light it is almost a mid-tone taste of minty goodness that balances out the sweet grape flavour.
I'm sure there are better ones but they taste just like described and at £11 for four bottles well worth a go. A bit disappointed about delivery charge £1.69 but they arrived fast and is still way cheaper than smoking.
Just to add they are both 70% PG 30%VG. 18mg nicotine

Ordered an IPOW 2 Battery last night. I didn't buy the kit as I want to play around with different tanks. Which ones have the same width as the battery, which I believe is 19mm?

Is the Sub tank huge?

ven 22 December 2014 10:49 AM

subtank is quite a big tank
OCC: 6ML liquid
RBA: 4.2ML liquid
length: 55mm(without drip tip)
Diameter: 25mm

Yes it's huge and quite likely not suitable for that battery. Aspire Nautilus mini is 19mm I think and would be my choice if choosing a different brand.

ven 22 December 2014 11:33 AM

As above and the mod needs to detect sub ohm coils, many will not and show error or nothing. Requires a dedicated mod for these tanks.

Do you get a better vape on the Aspire Nautilus than then Kanger Emow?
Also, would you recommend 1.5ohm coils over 1.8?

Forgive me if they are stupid questions but I am just finding my feet in this brave new world! :D

JackClark 22 December 2014 04:50 PM

Some prefer Aspire some prefer Kanger. I can't tell much difference between 1.8 and 1.5, the 1.8's have been great so far, just ordered another 5 pack.

bioforger 22 December 2014 04:56 PM

Dunno bout the 1st question, but i would definitely get the 1.5ohm coils now, after having a bad experience with the 1.8's. Of the 5 i got only 3 of them lasted anywhere from 3-5 days, the others only lasted a day. So they simply don't last that long or are inconsistent as Jack has only had good results with them and allegedly up to 10days lifespan. So it seems to me that you can get a good batch of 5 or not, which doesn't seem very good quality wise. Or Jack as usual is talking out of his arse on how long they actually last.

Rob_Impreza99 22 December 2014 06:09 PM

Bio, did you try out the 1.5 ohm coils yourself, if so how are you getting on ?

I can't see how Jack got 10 days out of the 1.8 ohm coils, i thought they were crap, well the ones i received were. Jack were you just having 1 puff a day or do you prefer a couple of puffs ?

bioforger 22 December 2014 06:17 PM

Yea got some 1.5's a while ago, apart from my leaky tank, which i'm still waiting on a replacement part for, they lasted alot longer and the vape was more consistent in both taste and vapour.

Glad they worked out for you, yeh the above is what i said to you earlier in the thread, they a far better and more consistent hit, they give better flavour and last longer.

So what do you reckon, do you think Jack is a one puff a day man or do you think he prefers a couple of puffs ?

bioforger 22 December 2014 07:08 PM

I just reckon he's a poof :)

Gear Head 22 December 2014 07:34 PM

I'll get some 1.5 ohm coils when I get through first 6. On the 2nd now in about 9 days.

JackClark 22 December 2014 08:05 PM

The coil I have in now is at least 10 days old, all clear juices, menthol or mint, mostly 50/50 PG/VG the juice makes a huge difference, I can kill a coil in a day with my favourite coffee flavour.

I ordered my current coils on the 4th November, still have 2 out of 6 coils and I vape too much.

Lower ohms won't make the coils last longer, different juice and length of draw will have an effect.

Gear Head 22 December 2014 08:13 PM

Guessing my newly acquired milk chocolate juice might kill off a few coils. Its so damn good though. :D

Butterscotch next!

Yes it will. Be wary of Butter anything, make sure it doesn't contain diacetyl.

And yet one of the coils i had that lasted 5 days was vaping purely on choco-nana and butternut banana juices. I still reckon the quality of some of these coils is suspect. You've probably just been lucky.

You don't think it's more likely you've been unlucky in your first purchase? In ten months I've had one pack that was sub par, they were fine, just not as good, get over it or change brand.

bioforger 23 December 2014 04:31 PM

No idea until i get through the next pack. If it doesn't improve i will, as 3-5days life time is sh1t!
