Which drop links?

Looking to replace me OE ones to suit fast road and occasional track use. Looking at either CDF or Whiteline, which would you recommend? Are the C shape links more solid and better than the twisted steel ones which Whiteline offer both off?

Cheers in advance:thumb:

Steve Whitehorn 02 April 2014 08:51 PM

Both are good
I have had both CDF and Whiteline stuff on my cars

In actual fact go for CDF - As you will be supporting a Kent business :)

CDF just happen to have a group buy on :thumb:

Kedlestone 02 April 2014 09:14 PM

Yeah I saw that and am thinking of doing it, just wanted to do a bit of research before committing as I'm not 100% on the different styles/shapes of link.

barnshaw 02 April 2014 09:18 PM

having some fitted next week, is there a noticeable difference with them?

mnem1c 02 April 2014 09:34 PM

Im looking to upgrade mine too. Ive done a bit of research and decided to go for solid whiteline drop links with a 22mm rear ARB.

Willowsdad 02 April 2014 10:15 PM

I'm going to see chris cdf tomorrow, and picking up new droplinks all round with a 22mm front bar and a 24mm for the back. Then I just need time to fit them!

stuart148 02 April 2014 11:25 PM

got to be cdf to support them as they do good stuff on here
with the group buys etc

Fit them yourself and spend the money saved on an anti-lift kit.;)

AS Performance 03 April 2014 08:32 AM

make sure whichever flavour you buy that you get the correct fitment for your particular car - the d/links change a few times over the years

How long for Chris? I could be in the market for some bits in the near future but I've got a credit card to pay off first :lol1:

Pm bonesetter, he will give you his advice on them, as you need them to flex to certain tolerances. (rock solid is not always good)
