Best turbo Intake Hose

My standard intake (2005 sti) is burst at the turbo so need to replace, however don't want the major task of removing the manifold and fuel rails etc,

Can i cut the old one out and squeeze a silicone replacement through?
What makes are decent?

I did what you mentioned years ago on a classic type r it took ages to cut out and yes with a squeeze the Samco will slide under but to be honest you would be easier removing the manifold and lifting the old one out and replacing it with an uprated intake pipe

I use a perrin one no complains at all

im using a cheap ebay replica and it is very good for the money, everyone says they are rubbish and collapse under boost but ive had no problems with it. took all day to fit though, once the old one was out and i compared the 2 i thought there was no way the silicone one would fit but after several hours of pushing it with a socket extension and a lot of fairy liquid it eventually went through

+1 here for eBay ones. Got mine fitted up and have had no bother with it!

Working steady with TD05 around 19psi no signs of any collapsing but definitly not anywhere near the same level of strength as a samco/perrin job.
