E3 is a my99 uk turbo ecu. Lift your pass footwell carpet and youll find you already have one.

You cant just swap in sti ecu's either, they have different turbo, heads, cams etc

What you really want is a classic PPP Ecu, if you can find one.
They are not really that rare, its just that people do not realise what they are when breaking cars now, and most old ECU's were ECutek'd anyway.

Its safe enough to run on the standard UK engine (this is what is was supposed to do), plugs straight in an gives 256bhp/250ibs of torque (or did on cars in 99).

Interestingly, that torque is roughly what Standard P1's were showing on rolling roads when nearly new.

The full MY99/00 PPP kit was effectively, the ECU, a rebadged STI/P1 Exhaust and the STI intercooler Y pipe with a blue Prodrive samco elbow (and not the STI red).
