Im told you can get the ericsson 68 upgraded to make it function more smoothly - anyone know how or where and did it work?/

I've got a t68m as well, it looks like you have to go to a local ericsson service centre to upgrade. You can't do it by yourself.

I need to send another e-mail to vodafone to try and get them to do it. If you get the phone upgraded and have problems later if you take it to you're provider and still have a contract they may not fix it ( usual small print rubbish).

Its the T68i firmware upgrade. Ive just got a T68i on Voda and love it - havent found any bugs/problems yet touch wood.

Yep this is the 68m to 68i upgrade.

From all accounts the phones are identical functionality wise and specification wise, hardware wise I would guess 90% the same.
( There are always componets in newer versions of hardware that differ.)

Ericsson have been thorougly testing the upgrade for the 68m and have delayed it a few times due to problems.

Considering I paid a fair amount for the phone I ain't gonna fork out for a t68i when a little bit of patience can upgrade my 68m to be equivalent.
