Tuning query about fitting a fmic (urgent answer needed)
Hello lads, ive my car (MY00 Turbo 2000) going in on monday to get all the bits fitted for the JGM map day (in ireland) in a couple of weeks.
TD05 16g Hybrid FMIC 550 injectors Walbro 255 TBE decatted NGK PFR7b's RCM mafless induction kit Alcatek ecu Thing is ive heard theres alot of fitting time involved in the fmic and i will have to cut the bumper which id rather not do. Just wondering if it stay with the standard tmic and airbox with a mafless pipe fitted do i stand to lose alot in terms of power and boost or are we talking maybe 10bhp or so? If its not really worth my while i would rather stick with the standard IC and airbox set up and sell the hybrid and RCM ind kit on again Any comments appreciated before i leave it in to get the bits fitted, cheers:thumb: |

get a newage sti topmount, it will be better than whats on it now, and not as lagey as a fmic,
|
Took the words out of my mouth Alan.
Keep the RCM induction kit though. You won't lose any power with the Newage STI TMIC. |
