andy97 01 August 2015 08:23 PM

The driver was a bit close, cyclist did exacerbate the situation. Driver then loses plot and becomes outwardly aggressive and abusive, culminating in humiliation in attempting an assault on cyclist. YouTube notoriety should be sufficient, however public order offences might well be coming his way :D

ditchmyster 02 August 2015 10:22 AM

Another head cam road ranger/ super hero wanna be looking for trouble, something really bad is going to happen to one of these nobbers soon, then there's going to be a lot of questions asked as to why the Police haven't made a statement about these people chasing cars basically looking for trouble, deliberately winding drivers up so they can film it, post it on youtube and get their 5mins of fame.

Quite amusing :D

But imo cyclist was indeed being a ****.

Plenty room left for him !

dpb 02 August 2015 11:20 AM

I'm pretty sure a percentage these people do it purely for their own publicity

Sooner or later we'll ne doubt have footage of said go pro helmet cam actually inserted up said heroes rinkter

Have to agree. I just watched some of his other videos, what an absolute penis. It's not surprising he winds people up into road rage really. All his 'close pass' videos look nothing of the sort. How he hasn't been flattened is beyond me. I watched one where a lorry went past him, looked perfectly fine on camera (which normally makes it look worse). And straight away he's reeling the reg off, then he chases the lorry driver back to the yard and gives him a 'talking to' in the most condescending way. If he isn't a wanna be police special, he sure needs to be! Leaving the scene with a line such as "just have a think about what you've done" lol

LSherratt 02 August 2015 12:25 PM

Is the cyclist wearing 2 cameras?! One on the front and one facing behind? If so, he needs to get a life. He was blatantly winding the car driver up but it is a brilliantly funny video. I watched it on FB this morning and the driver face planting the floor was a spit out coffee moment as I wasn't expecting it.

Driver now has criminal record for a public order offence :)) I think he might be wondering what a muppet he is.

And this will now just fuel the tosser cyclist ego even more.until the next motorist he decides to pedal after and starts winding up..

legb4rsk 02 August 2015 03:53 PM

Take his number plate & report it with the supporting evidence.

Everything else is surely incitement.

dpb 02 August 2015 05:21 PM

Seems entrapment
What does he want driver to do exactly ....

madscoob 02 August 2015 05:56 PM

it's only a question of time, one of these fame seeking cvnts is going to get run over on purpose before long, or will have the **** kicked out of them :thumb:

Matteeboy 02 August 2015 06:04 PM

I'd like to see one where a cyclist kicks two shades of **** out of yet another fat, angry yob motorist.
I've got close but the guy suddenly apologised. A lot.

Apologise" Sorry mate that was a bit close" Diffuses alot of issues. I have done it many times as a driver or cyclist. Trouble is no one wants to back down. After the first comment from the rider the driver went on the offensive, instead of diffusing the situation.

The driver was a complete tool and the more of these instances that are recorded the better. Eventually people will be wary of being recorded and reported for their actions, however trivial, whether that be a cyclist, driver or pedestrian.

Matteeboy 02 August 2015 06:49 PM

It's astonishing just how angry people get in a car.
It must be some primeval instinct thing; people go absolutely ballistic over nothing. Bloody idiots.

dpb 02 August 2015 07:15 PM

Do you really think this guy simply wanted an apology

andy97 02 August 2015 07:32 PM

Whether he wanted an apology or not, if he was goading the driver then diffusing the situation would of had a much better outcome, don't you think so?

dpb 02 August 2015 07:42 PM

I think some people dont want to live in the instant world we live in , where being 6" too close to a camera bedecked claims ready junkie could cost you your job

DYK 02 August 2015 07:48 PM

But if the cyclist wanted to put it on YouTube or report the driver to the police for passing to close then why Didn't he just do that ? Instead he wanted more, and gave pursuit after the driver through residential roads to the next block.to many with cameras now a days making a big deal out of something small incident, giving chase and goading motorists.someone posted on here the cyclist has done previous videos pursuing after vehicles.so its not just a one time thing.

andy97 02 August 2015 08:07 PM

I haven't seen the other videos. If he is out just to pursue confrontation then he will come a cropper at some point. In this instance he has outed a complete knob with severe anger issues, not to mention less than desirable driving skills.

I don't see that many downsides to drivers and other road users recording poor behaviour, confronting and or reporting to authorities.

It will help all of us in the end, don't you think, more cautious, respecting of each other, yes ?

ditchmyster 03 August 2015 10:52 AM

Thing is he may have outed a knob, but said outing wouldn't have taken place had he not sought confrontation. In my view they're both knobs and I seriously question the motives of anyone that rides around on a bicycle with 2 cameras attached waiting for some small thing to happen to them, then starts chasing people in cars inciting them to riot, so he can post it on youtube.

In my view the Police need to be having a word with the bloke about what he is doing because sooner or later he's going to meet someone as mental as he is.

urban 03 August 2015 12:55 PM

One was as bad as the other IMO

Other people should also be able to do this for irresponsible cyclists and why I think things should be even for both in that riders who use the roads regularly should also be registered; any incidents can be traced back to riders, instead of them riding off with no repercussions. Might make some riders ride more responsibly and consideration.
