Labour party conference
These chumps are looking ever more unelectable to my mind. :)
|
They've ensured that when they voted the younger of the 2 Millibands as there leader :lol1:
|
Breathing a sigh of relief about the Scotland thing no doubt! If that had gone ahead the likelihood of ever seeing a labour government again in what would be left of the UK must have been pretty low.
That said carry on the way they are and it'll be the case anyway :) |
Thank God.
Now we just need the Tories and the Limp Dems unelectable and we are there. |
I had to LOL at the 'We're going to cut child benefit' line - as if they were going to be doing the economy a big favour by doing so....
This is probably the most 'untouchable' benefit there is..... hahahahaha! (unless you earn £50k plus!) |
I think the 50k threshold will slowly lower tbh
and I doubt the "free at the point of use" NHS has more that 20 years left in it - whatever flavour of government |

It's the line about how " We won't be wasting any more of your money without telling you where it's going " ,or something to that effect that has me in stitches. :)
|
I think younger milliband would have a better chance as a stand up comic Tbh, specially with that mug :)
Maybe ballsup could back him up |
always easy to spend other peoples money
|
I watched balls speech. I am sure he picked up the conservative manifesto and recited verbatim :)
|
Well....do you expect him to say,
"Hi, my name is Ed...I was big in both Blair and Brown's governments...you know, the ones that presided over ruining the country, socially engineering the population and left a note saying the money had all gone?" Maybe he should......;) |

That's the problem with socialism.
Does anyone other than a handful of people on this forum have the slightest idea of what socialism actually really is? Instead of trotting out soundbites you have gleaned from your favourite edition of the Daily Mail why not do some proper reading about it? If you still want to slag it off after that then fine, but making comments like this is trite at best! |
I know what it is
Throw billions away in order to kick start the economy. ;) And I spect most of the voters realise this and why lab won't get a look in for the next decade |

who does the profit belong to, the executives or the shareholders
|
Can't believe how hell bent Ed is on increasing house building. Soon the only open spaces to build upon will be the drag and race tracks.
#mattspropaganda. |

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery |
Labour reverting to type, a Mansion Tax that will apparently save the NHS.:Whatever_
|
The man is a complete twonk.
A Hungarian Jew...how can we have him as PM, I mean, come on? |

Yeah, seems they need to do some more sums: how does a few billion cover something costing over £100billion without increasing the uk deficit?
They also want to retain the 50% tax rate which has been shown by independent bodies to be poor at actually raising revenue. So political ideology and class politics are more important than actual economics Unfortunately the polls show that Labour would be the largest party if an election was called tomorrow, Milliband would be our PM and Ed Balls in charge of the economy:eek: |
Is there any way to find out if these politicians have any accountancy ability, or even advanced maths compentancy barring qualifications, let alone business management experience in the real world?
As most are career politicians from the outset: Does a politics/economics qualification actually make these guys any more compentant than the average business owner? I'd say no. |
