Have now ran out of the Magifoam and need to order some more.

Would you recommend going for that particular one again as I did a quick search and there are loads of snow foams available?

Any help much appreciated:thumb:

I'm still a big fan of Magifoam, I like the cleaning and the clinging ability of it. Others I've tried don't offer the same cling.

I do also like Valet Pro Advanced Neutral and Chemical Guys No Touch Snow Foam they are probably the other best ones out there

Well my first order has arrived. Waiting on the wheel cleaner and my power washer to turn up now.

I think it's a result, but any need to mix it a little richer to enable it to clung for longer :wonder:

Rob

Ps and for you keen eyes'ers, I'm having some masonry work done, thus the mess all over the floor and pointing missing!

Looks maybe a little bit thin Rob if It's Magifoam?

I use about 1 inch in the bottom of the bottle and top up to maybe 2/3 full. The fact you've had enough to do all that on one bottle means you may well of made a slightly over diluted mix

I guessed the mix, around 20mm at the bottom to a full bottle, so yes too diluted as you said, ah well you live and learn.

It was superfoam, and the bike was only around 5 seconds to cover so barely any mixture.

The fact is, this stuff is still great. I sprayed it over the car, blasted it off with the lance, resprayed and the wiped the car down and lanced off, so I skipped the need to wash the car thoroughly:D wrong I know, but the cars going soon and I've lost all love for it.

Rob

Glad you're happy with it Rob.

Super foam doesn't cling as much as magifoam so I'd say you got it about right.

ATWRX 15 June 2013 09:54 PM

Eventually go my hands on my euqitment

Dilutes with 1" to rest of bottle, approx 6-7:1. The stuff also says dilute 100:1, so which is right?

Before the snowfoam

My car

The OH's car
http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps1e7fbc45.jpg

Snowfoamed my car was first, so that's after leaving for approx 3 mins while I done the OH's car, it went on like whipped cream.

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...psfff242cb.jpg

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps6232b4c5.jpg

After, my car looks great, her car is streaky, which left me feeling a little disappointed, however, when I started to remove the dead flies, they came off with no effort whatsoever, so went from disappointed to pretty happy within seconds.

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...pse7a82610.jpg

Not too sure if you can see the streaks? Was it left on too long?

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...ps4aad6b60.jpg

Anyway overall I'm happy with the stuff :)

Done mate

B0DSKI 18 June 2013 12:33 PM

Streaks could be a lack of protection on the paint ? I'd remove any fallout, then clay it and reapply some wax/protection onto it.

supshon 02 July 2013 11:05 PM

Are there any discounts on the snow foam alone looking to buy some magifoam , or do you have to go through the website thanks

B0DSKI 03 July 2013 08:14 PM

Don't think so mate. If you was buying in bulk maybe but I doubt they'll budge on price for 1-2 bottles of it

Mr Footlong 05 July 2013 04:29 PM

Ordered deal 4 today via Mark I think, £22 premium for hopefully delivery tomorrow!

Good good. Are we going to start a new groupby thread. Is that the deal for the purple or the yellow.
Think its slightly wrong on the website it says the purple is magnifoam yellow.

Also ive been useing it to wash the car which is good but when it drys it it leaves white spot marks were the water as dried. What would you recommend

B0DSKI 25 September 2013 08:05 PM

I'd not let the water dry on the paint Mike. If you're not 2 bucket washing the car after using the snowfoam then you'd be best taking the car for a quick spin to get rid of the water off of the paintwork.

It's probably not the snowfoam leaving water marks but the calcium in the water. I'd not use a drying towel as you cannot guarantee the snowfoam has removed all the containments and you'll just be rubbing it into the paint.

New groupbuy coming up :)

DantheMan2605 25 September 2013 08:50 PM

Ill be ordering on payday.

Flirted with valet pro neutral in the past, with winter pretty much here my enthusiasm for all day clean ups will be drifting away too :D
