ESC Santa Cruise 2009, 20th December

The idea is that we donate gifts (wrapped for either boy or girl or suitable for either) and deliver them to a home for children a day or two before christmas.

This is always a great event, seeing the kiddies (those driving and those receiving gifts http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...es/biggrin.gif ) and I believe really makes a difference to them.

For those that cannot make the event, gifts would be much appreciated, even if you aim at a value between £5-£10 this will make a child in a home over Christmas extremely happy. Gifts will be collected at either the Posers Cruise, Halfway House meet or The Lodge, this gives plenty of opportunity for getting the gifts together.

If there is anyone that is open to accept gifts from their home or workplace as suggested by Spally (great idea :thumb: ) , please add you name to the collection list below.

All those available for the delivery of gifts to kids homes please add your names to the delivery list :)

Leaving time and route to be confirmed, but please take it that it will probably be a meeting time of 8.00 - 8.15 AM and leaving time of around 8.45 - 9.00 AM from Baz Vegas car park :thumb:

Scooby_seb is donating some drinks for the homes staff :thumb:

We have more than filled the quota for gifts now, but if anyone still feels like contributing, cash donations will be great, these will either be donated to the homes to get some special treats (of their choice), or if anything in particular is required by them, we will endeavour to provide :thumb:

Many thanks again for everyones continuing generosity
!

Many thanks for the generosity of Duncan, and Matt for arranging the auctioning of it :thumb: (any news yet mister ?)

I think this Cruise will be the best that the Essex Scooby Crew has done thus far :notworthy

Be aware that the delivery of the gifts will take in some lovely B roads ;)
