:D.

if someone could w@nk for 4 hours in front of a crowd baying "Let's play w@nking" - would that make w@nking a Sport ?

What would happen if a thread on that subject was moved to Muppets  :lol1:

PS NOBODY ELSE REPLY - WE'RE ON 180 replies :D

Further proof here that in a bunch of old men (the BDO) a young talent shines through. The Sport continues to move forward, and if you want to succeed, you have to take care of yourself as you'll be nothing more than a has been in "yesterdays game".

All it does is highlight the opposite.

That the first non-fat non-middle-aged non-alcoholic enters the game and sweeps up. Shows how much of a sport it is.

Exactly, lose weight, get fit - or you lose.

Proof that it's moved on.

I suggest the rest take note as they will be left where darts was 10 years ago....

Darts has developed - can they??

...poker has developed massively over the past ten years - does that make it a sport?

It's even on the telly more than darts is!!!

But poker doesn't require any deft hand eye co-ordination of physical fitness. After all, a good poker player could get someone else to play and give them instructions.

But they wouldn't win - poker requires great physiological control so that your 'tells' cannot be read by other players. Poker has very little to do with the cards in your hand.

Physiological control is easier the fitter you are.

:D

One things for sure.

If talking bollox was a sport ScoobyNet could produce several world class sportsmen ;):D.

So the next time slimboy looses to a fat b@st@rd darts will no longer be a sport in the eyes of the "enlightened" !

We'll see if he can defend his title and stay off the booze !
