You're a woman, though, so surely not the best judge of their attractiveness? :lol1:
When guys talk about curvy women they mean healthy looking, about a size 8-12 with an hourglass figure. Not a 20 stone Jeremy Kyle guest! I bet it's not this, what most wimmins want :norty: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_KgK3e59kRs...exy_men_11.jpg |

What doesn't add up is that your sweeping generalisation may not be true :)
Women come in all shapes and sizes so it is ridiculous to assume that a size ten is stick thin. Maybe you should get yourself around a bit more ;) Not unless there added extra's of course? As for being tall and size 10 without looking thin is hard to believe when my partners friend is size 8 and 5ft 5" and looks like she has spent a month on a POW camp. |

10 is too small. Most women can't get close to it, which is why many women are so depressed and dissatisfied with their bodies. The fashion industry is overrun with gay men who prefer to see slim-hipped, small arsed, tall, flat chested models (i.e. teenage male physique) which is in direct contrast to what we actually have - big arsed, medium chested SEXY women.

Put the handbag away! :D My comment wasn't about me though, was it? What you're saying is unless a guy looks like that, his opinion on what constututes an attractive woman is invalid? Us ugly, freakish, quasimodo types need love too ya know.
The point I was trying to make, albeit badly, was everyone has fantasies of their ideal. And we are all different. Sometimes the chaps of SN seem to want the perfect model type, just the same as us wimmins I suppose. It's never gonna happen, unless someone can photoshop us all into perfection :D Sorry if I came acrloss picky, Glesga. Not my intention. :thumb: |

My wife isn't a model & is just right, for me. That is the crux of it, one mans meat is another mans poison. Back on topic, GMTV burd is going to make a packet from the DVD & that is all it's about. Just look at Natalie Cassidy, heffer for many years, looses the lard & releases a DVD, now married & sprogged up - back to being a heffer again.

Sometimes you sound like you are discussing a Kennel Club breed standard or judging livestock at a County Show !
I think, once you take extremes out, i.e. waddling cake enthusiasts and those with full on Anorexia it is really down to whether you like them as a person, whether you can share a laugh, if you choose your partners soley on whether they fit the breed standard or because she will impress your mates then good luck to you, I think some on here would trade them in if they go over a size 10 by the sounds of it. Some women, some people are just attractive, as I get older i find it easier to separate out the sex aspect and think why I find someone appealing and want to spend time with them and its not always the attractive ones, in fact sometimes very attractive people seem to rely on that and dont have much in the way of a personality, like the Streets song "Fit but you know it", which is a massive turn off. I do like a little weight on woman, not fat, just not skinny, I think thats just basic male programming looking for one that can bear children, I think the size zero thing where women(and sometimes men) is just a way of trying to attract a partner as they equate being very thin with being attractive and glamorous like a celebrity, sadly it just isnt that simple for these poor deluded individuals, looking like Posh Spice to get a bloke, get real. |

Jacko - I'll disagree with you on one point you've made in your post: on what constitutes 'attractive'
I've got this personal take on the difference between attractive and good-looking Good-looking is just that: eye candy. Purely physical appeal. Attractive can also be good-looking, but not exclusively. It also involves personality, demeanour, approachability, sociability, sense of humour. I once knew a morbidly obese lady where I used to work that was one the most attractive people I had ever met. We're not talking jolly fat person here - she would light up a room and on work nights out, she would always have men around her. You just enjoyed her company, great to chat to, have a laugh with and you DID see an attractive woman. I've also known some stunningly good-looking women who make me shuddder to think about, nasty little trolls or completely vapid intellects. Nah... not attractive in the slightest. The former just had no appeal at and the latter - well... yeah: purely physical. |

Lad and a lady I know both lost weight very quickly using that Lighter Life stuff and they've got these huge saggy bits of skin.

That doesnt look right that pic, she is 40 and has a very flabby belly and then she looks like a 19 year old fitness fanatic, I can appreciate she has lost some weight but there is no stretched skin, no orange peel, its either a miracle or like some have said, photoshop.
If not there is some world class Industrial Light and Magic graphic work there - which seems very unlikely. So, girl loses weight and looks good shocker! |
Good to see that someone has had the decency to post a picture of her now that she has lost that excess weight by her own hard workk.

Borderline health risk? Cancer risk in larger waisted women They will be finding a cancer risk if you eat jelly, next. If we believed all we read about "cancer risk", we would be living very, very boring lives. I don't think a size 14 is big. I would say it is the most common size of wimmins in the UK today. I would also think, men who have very large bellies are more at risk of an early death than size 14 wimmins. :thumb: |

...and having seen your pics it goes to show frame has a lot to do with it as you look very slim and yet a size 10 can look a lot curvier!
