"Go ahead Jony, those Swiss *******s will never notice"

Are you ****ing serious and why do you care?

Sorry. Thought this was a discussion Jack.

Apple use a design, pay for a design. Somewhere in the middle something is missing. End result, Nice clock. Nothing much to discuss, I can tell you it's a fantastic app, the best alarm clock I have ever had.

Exactly.

What it should be is have a discussion, come to a licensing agreement, pay for a design *then* use a design, not the other way around.

SBB were not approached by Apple to licence the design at any point. SBB had to go to Apple. As I said, arrogance and hipocrasy on Apple's part.

Are you really suggesting that the Apple designer who designed the Clock application didn't just copy the SBB design? And knowingly do it?

How do think Mondaine feel? They had exclusive rights to produce watches to this design.

Oh yeah, why should I bother asking, you obviously know much more about it than anybody else. And why should I care right? Grow up.

You're making far more assumptions than me. All you know is what you've read in the gutter press, you've simply jumped on the bandwagon for a ride and quite frankly it's boring.

And you are assuming I've only gleaned information from the "gutter press". You will have noticed that I actually raised it very early on after iOS6 was released. The reasons why I won't bother sharing.

Apple have started sueing people that have died, apparently Steve Jobs did it first !!!

RA Dunk 16 October 2012 08:34 PM

Apple are a fcuking disgrace, For the last two weeks I've been 'trying' to buy an iphone 5 to replace my old and slow iphone 3, The local apple store down the road has no stock of iphone 5's, they told me to reserve one direct from their website (this needs to be done every fcuking day BTW!) and they will email me when they have stock, so 14 days pass 14 days of reserving bloody phones and still no bloody email..

Apple are seriously letting themselfs down by the way they are handling all of this.

JackClark 16 October 2012 08:43 PM

Why don't you just order one online?

RA Dunk 16 October 2012 10:53 PM

Three/Four week dispatch time!

I then need to drive 35 miles and fcuk around getting my Sim changed because apparently the new phones have a smaller Sim card..

Think I'll just get the 4s instead, can't be ar$ed with all this fcuking around for the sake of a new phone.

So to show Apple how pissed off you are with them, you going to buy another Apple phone? :lol1:

iPad Mini? Only about 12 months after the competition.

Keep up Apple!

It is very apparent how badly they are missing old Steve.

Pretty much confirmed it's the iPad Mini being announced. Also seems that there may be announcements for 13" Retina Macbook, refreshed Mac Mini and refreshed iMacs. The "we've got a little more for you" takes on more weight when you add that into it, it is very "One more thing..." like.

I think Apple could have been waiting to see how much interest there is in a 7" form factor device, and it has seen there is demand, and obviously fancies a slice of that pie, and is probably betting on it being a very large slice too. People were seemingly underwhelmed by the iPhone 5, but it sold out quicker than the similarly underwhelming 4S, so it will be interesting to see what will happen with an iPad mini. As with the 5, I'm not going to get a personal one, I've no real need nor desire for one probably as I'll been using the thing daily at work.

It was a very nice video, a fitting tribute. I'm sure Steve would be very proud of the new products launched since his demise, some of the most successful product launches in Apple's history.
