handling would be similar in standard form. Although I found it to harsh on the road main problem is the very flexible bushes and very stiff suspension doesn't help comfort or handling IMHO

Im not tracking the 340r but if I was I'd would have possibly gone up a spring rate. So I have softened up the suspension with AST coilovers but now need to sort out bushes as too soft

The biggest missings are

No turbo lag
quick rack
Feedback through steering

Tony

I thought the bushes on the new MY11 were stiffer than the MY10.

I'm no expert like john felsted but seemed far too rigid on slow speed 70+mph and exit speeds too slow. But with ast dispensing and slightly softer was better at 70"100mpd corners but slightly soft for 120+mph. Too me after changing struts and springs the spring rate is either wrong or the bushes are very soft.

But either way the steering is very soft and defiantly improved with a quick rack etc.

Thanks mate - Dave sure has treated the car well. Great car and clearly an all around good guy.

I will do my best to look after it as well as he did.
