Sorry, not as exciting as some of the exotica people are buying on here but subject to an overnight test drive I will be placing an order for the F10 535D Msport.

Cosmos black

Oyster leather, heated, electric comfort seats
Heated steering wheel:thumb:

19 inch alloys

Electric sunroof

Sport autobox

Sat Nav Business (with blue tooth)

Adaptive drive (MAYBE)

Visibility package (Xenon adaptive lights etc)

Split rear seats

Head Up display

Professional speaker package

M rear spoiler

Folding mirrors

Comfort glass

And some other bits.

Then shortly after

1) Remap to approx 350BHP

2) Lowered with AC Schnitzer springs

Exterior will look like this

And interior like the first car in this thread.

Hope I don't get bored. If I do the plan will be to buy a year old M5 in 2013 or keep the 535d for family duties and add a Porsche 911 to the stable

Horse for courses then! You must be used to owning supercars. Every car had its good & bad points. The E61 for me is quite possibly the best all round car you can own & I also own a TDV8 RR.
Thankfully a forum wouldn't be one if we didnt all have separate views.

Well since it's a boring car, lets talk about some boring things.;) It must be my age that makes me think about things like this, that and two little special bits of cargo often in my car.

Could somebody be kind enough to embed these images, I've tried but couldn't.

The Jaguar is shockingly bad. When I ordered the 5 quite a few people told me the Jaguar looked far more interesting and exciting. Thanks but no thanks

i think it is because they are not images -- but part of the webpage

so you would have to save the whole page as am image file etc etc

Thanks Hodgy.

Got a call from the dealer today, the car is here early:luxhello:

Arrives at the dealer on Monday, should be ready to collect on Thursday!

Now I just need to pay for it, that is going to hurt a miser like me:cry::lol1:

Will do:thumb:

I've arranged a detailer to prep it and have asked BMW not to even wash it when it arrives. Must say I've always thought this detailing malarkey was a bit weird but a few people have suggested I do this prior to collecting the car. My last car ended up looking like sh3te, I want to try harder to keep this one looking fresh.

It's going to cost me £300 but the guy is going to spend 6 hours+ on the car and do the inside protection as well. BMW wanted to charge me £300 for supaguard and I'm sure they would have got the 17 year old odd job boy to slap on some polish

Thanks Hodgy. Yes, though it's not exotica I'm quite excited to get it. It won't fit in my tiny garage but will be parked off street. It shouldn't attract any unwanted attention compared to the two R8s, Bentley and countless 911s on my patch

detailing the car is well worth it( although i had the superguard thrush up on me at my collection ... its not that bad and you do get alot of car care stuff and a nice bag to put them in ).
just detail my car last nite ...took me 4 hrs, think i'll get a "Pro" to do it next time !!

Really like the interior of the F10 but not the size .

It is big, if the 5 was already bordering on too big for somebody then the F10 is now probably a no go.
I was thinking of a 7 series or S class but they were too big for me, but the F10 is just perfect. Bigger than the E60 but not as big as a 7 series/S class/A8 etc
