What year car do you have? as I have a set of V2 cylinder heads which have been skimmed and pressure tested if your cylinder heads aren't worth saving.:thumb:

Yes a good day indeed, my first time to this event and it was good to see a wide range of cars attending from classic's to the modern era cars.

As for prize's, yes congrats to you also mate. Make great use of those tickets :thumb: though if you decide not to go :norty:, let me know as I'll make good use of them;) if you decide to sell them on

STI Glenn 09 October 2010 06:01 PM

Good day nice to see everyone ,cars all looking good

Cannon Fodder 09 October 2010 06:42 PM

Congratulations to Merv  :lol1: and Mat on your winning the prizes. :)

I've only just got home after having a callout, I didn't even get a chance to go and wind up the pitiful collection of Evo's. :p

The show has gotten bigger since last year and from what I saw in my 20 minute 'visit' there was a good collection of cars to view.

The West Wales RS owners club stand looked interesting and I wouldn't minded having a nose at the white hatchback Sierra Cosworth it looked mint from what I saw of it.

Cannon Fodder 09 October 2010 06:45 PM

Nearly forgot nice to see we had the biggest stand again. :notworthy

The Stitcher 09 October 2010 06:55 PM

great day guys and nice to catch up with alot of you and sorry for those i missed, really liked the escort with the cossie lump in, anyone got any pic's of the day ?

KJD Mk1 09 October 2010 08:12 PM

Firstly I'd like to thank everyone that made the effort to come along to to-day's show. I know its a small show but with support from local clubs it can only grow, its nice to have something on our door step.:)

I know that event organiser Ian is thrilled to have us as in his words "we make the show" praise indeed :notworthy

Cars looked stunning to-day chaps  :thumb:

I'd also like to thank CVC for bringing the the new Sti saloon along to our club stand, great effort Merv for sorting that one :thumb:

Well done Matt for winning a years subs to Motoring news and Merv for winning the star prize of two 4 day rally GB passes worth £200 :luxhello:

Just remember buddy who claimed the prize for you

Some sour faces soon departed after I collected it for you, toys out of prams!! :lol1:

Fave car of the show was the Mk2 RS with the cossy motor, sweeeet :luvlove:

Ty will be getting lines for turning up late for class, not having his gym kit and sneaking off half way through afternoon assembly:content:

Nice one chaps :D

That's my mate's car, with the RS1800 graphics? He built the whole car from a well used and abused ex-rally shell. He's spent hours with the welder making that shell mint. He fabricated loads of parts to get the engine, exhaust and suspension installed and setup properly. He also painted the car himself. Taken 4+ years to build. It's a very special car that one and a hoot to drive. I'll pass on your comments to him :thumb:

THE DOCTOR 09 October 2010 08:39 PM
