Methinks Seine is a NACRO doppelganger.

Seine - I have a very good accountant thanks but am not a private equity firm (or similar) paying 5% or less tax for making multiple millions of pounds profit. Just a small limited company doing fine thanks.

Salsa - I think we are sort of agreeing! Oh and half private school educated, the other half state schooled - seen both sides which really helps give a rounded view of life. My ideas and views were getting very warped when I wass at private school - I'm glad I went to a comp too - it was very tough for a while and my results suffered, but all worth it.

Oh and you aren't "born" into private school. You have to pass an entrance exam for most (like mine - 1 in 4 pass) and be DAMN clever...;) :lol1:

Giving them money in such a way will do the very opposite of that! What do you think of the fees that pupils at University have to pay back then?

You missed the point entirely Les. The whole scheme is aimed at less well off families, right? The ones where kids are less likely to go into full time education becaue of the pressure to go out and earn money. What the government is doing is incentivising learning. Incentivising people not ending up in dead end jobs.

I'm not trying. I am. Said sentsationalist reports come form the press. And they stoppped having any interest in reporting the News and long time ago. About the same time they realised that unless they print a lot of sensationalist bollocks, they would go out of business.

So you think that full time students, and reitred folk, and disabled people should go on the unemployment register? Fair enough. I don't. I mean aside from the fact that most full time students have part time jobs. They get £30 a week Les, not £300.

Its NACRO using yet another name as he is banned on his main trolling account. Ickle Alan appears to have little or no life and gets his jollies and maybe the odd woodie writing this bollox that he thinks will get a rise ad sadly some still bite.
