Corner! :p:D

Scott W 01 August 2003 10:58 AM

Tavia, no worries mate. We did wonder where you were, as we wanted to see you attempt the Bottle Buster.

Standalone Anti Lag kits - tell me more!!!!!! :D

lol @ Nexuas.

I just need to sort out the exhaust on mine, once it sounds louder I am sure it will go quicker.

Do your brakes always make that noise?

Scott W 01 August 2003 11:13 AM

At the moment, yes. :(

They are Mintex pads, so are known to squeal. However, the last lot did get a lot better over time. They are fine when they are being stamped on hard, it's just around town with light applications they are a pain in the backside.

As for the exhaust, it's a must! ;):D

You done anything to your suspension yet? On one of the roundabouts it looked like your car was rolling quite a bit and I just wondered.

Nexuas 01 August 2003 11:38 AM

No it is completely standard at the moment, the only thing I have changed so far is putting blue indicators on the front (Ebay Bargin.)

Would love to...

16inch wheels
Eibachs
Back box and centre cat
Panel filter
2 or 4 pot front brakes

But not being in IT I can't afford to do any of it at the moment, and have a BIG service coming up soon so think it will all have to wait.:(

Scott W 01 August 2003 11:55 AM

Bummer :(

Being in IT doesn't mean a thing mate. Believe me!!

But hey, you still enjoy owning/driving the motor and that's what counts! :)

The rest of the stuff just helps to improve that feeling a bit (dependent on the stuff fitted). One of the biggest smiles I got on my face when it came to getting stuff done on the car was done for a couple of hundred quid (if my memory serves me correctly). This being, solid drop links and the Bumpsteer mod. The car was transformed due to these, and I'm sure Neil will back me up on this.

Nexuas 01 August 2003 05:30 PM

Don't get me wrong I am really happy with the car, but I think these are my long term aims?

And it does not help posting on here and going to meets as you all seam to be modding like crazy.
