I said before that his exhaust comprises of a HKS down pipe and a blitz nur spec r system...:D

My turbo is not small on my scoob... its the TD05 which is fitted to early imports... and is for top end power... and can flow 256bhp from the factory so it should be bigger than an RST turbo.... which only flows 130bhp from the factory..

This thread as made me giggle enough to warrant registering!

Firstly, the Cabriolet deserves respect purley for what it is and how much works been put into it, not saying u gotta admit it's better or nowt, just that respect is due

What peeps seem to be missing here is the plain simple fact that......... ANY muppet can put their foot down in a straight line

Cossie's claim to be best purely cos of power, put a similar spec cossie, gtir and scooby on a standing start straight line and the gtir wins 9 times outta 10, purely cos its the 'liveliest'

Cossies excel on the bendy stuff, 80-90 mph corners with straights inbetween where it can stretch its legs cos it deffo has best top speed

Scoobys dominate on the twisty stuff where the cars start gettin thrown about, they are undeniably the most neutral and balanced of the 3, GtiR's understeer like fook, cossies (even the 4x4) like to get their arse out and scoobys just grip and go

Please note i am generalising all 3 cars here, some have upgraded parts etc but in general this is what i've experienced. I've driven a GtiR that handles awesome but it had 1300 quids worth of suspension on it so its expected to! In comparison, i've driven a WRX with standard suspension that handles just as well.

Think everyone just needs to accept that cars are a personal taste thing, u choose one u like and make it the best it can be....Alex chose the Cabriolet and as they go....it's fookin awesome

Basically....scoobys as a car are best cos they're the most forgiving / easiest to drive hard, if a scooby beats a cossie in a straight line the scooby gets respect, if a cossie beats a scooby on the twisty stuff, the cossie driver gets respect...... why ya think i own a cossie?? ;)

I know it's 7 pages late but another my cars better than yours thread' we all like different cars they are all different if i had my choice i would bin the scoob and get a Turbo 2 or a 6R4 it's all down to personal taste etc.

This is well funny, kind of reminds me of Wildlife programs specifically when chimps or similar are shown in the wild, Chimp from tribe A wanders into Tribe B's territory, cue much whooping and a rumble starts with tribe A chimp being chased out by several large males brandishing sticks, occasionally they get away or more often than not clubbed to death and eaten.

Therefore I suggest RSOC chimps stay there side of the forest and Scooby Baboons stay theirs.

They both look slow. Doesn't look to me like the scooby was trying. The back end on mines near hits the deck when I give it a full on gear-change. Looks like he is tootling along.
