something like this?

Just spoken to the people who made it, it was a one off unit and won't be available as the fitment issues are to great to overcome.

That's a damn shame.

Just bought one of these for my build. The list is nearly complete!

Does anyone know what the best inlet pipe is for these? Noticed RCM do a custom one with this unit. Ive got a brand new samco inlet I bought a while back in anticipation for a new turbo but does anyone know if this will be as good fit or not??

Thanks

Aaron_P85 29 September 2017 06:28 PM

Their ‘custom’ one is just a samco standard position one....fooling tight mind haha

So its the same with the extra take off's removed?

I haven't wasted my money on the "normal" samco uprated hose then? Just want a nice straight forward fit..

All I am going to say the RCM PRECISION STOCK POSITION BILLET TURBO is not a 500 bhp turbo in V Power yes you can get 500+ with meth but there is no way you can get 500 bhp on standard heads and cams :/

Here is my car results on V Power:

Yup, there’s quite a few of us in here that have commented on this, what torque did you manage and what engine/mapped out of interest?

Yeah I’ve only managed 415, don’t know where it’s being lost RCM headers, Harvey pipe & JAPSPEED 3” exhaust

2.0 never make the torque a 2.5 does

That’s true, but it’s a big difference from the other 2.1 in this thread... 415 to 450

It’s your Japspeed 3” exhuast I think :/ I wanted to fit their 3” downpipe but the way it was designed I didn’t like it :/

nm is for pub talk cos its a bigger number hahaha

2.0 tends to be more bhp that torque
2.1 tends to be around equal
2.5 tends to have higher torque than bhp

bear in mind it varies and thats just a rough rule of thumb.

Yep!

Obviously, when referring to the units, bhp/PS for power and lb ft for torque, of course. :thumb:

My car will be going to engine tuner this Saturday to have the final mapping done on my enginetuner built 2.35 with ported and polished avcs heads which have supertech valves 272cams with the precision stock location turbo, will share my results soon as I get them but I'm hoping to break the 500bhp barrier.
