Whats happened to Vipa? Hasn't posted on here for a while.

There is a Nurburgring trip on the cards. Planned to leave on 21st July.

I know that Vipa and Lord Harding were very keen on this.

been cutting the grass once a week, is that a recomeded timescale ritchie?

not really clued up on grass cutting lol
previous bloke rang up wanting his petrol lawn mower back, so me and dan stripped the old knackerd one down, sum mupppet had filled it with 2 stroke instead of petrol, cleaned it all up, swapped the plug and poured loads of petrol down the head and it fired up, found a flap thing we could move around with mole grips which made the engine go faster :D

its a bit of a beast in its new state of high tune
did all the grass in about 5 mins on monday, place was coverd in bright yellow dandelions today, where the feck did they all come from

Hello from the North Sea......Norwegian Sector.

Flat seas, good weather, just waiting to finish a job before we sail in to port to de-mob.

Should be in for my BIRTHDAY ON SUNDAY, so may get out for a pint of the Norwegians best flat, headache giving beer!! Local brew is Rignes, often known as ring sting.....for the obvious reasons!!!

What are you doing to the motor then Micky? Got a spare MY00 front bumper for me? I want one!!

StickyMicky 23 April 2005 04:24 PM

no front bumpers here, except a early 3 slat version which i wrapped around a central reservation, stands out quite a bit if you want "individuality"

SUBTYPER 24 April 2005 07:59 AM

hitchhikers guide to the footy?

martyrobertsdj 25 April 2005 12:26 AM

Some Birthday that was!!!!

We came into port at 3:00am and got busy (very) removing everything fromthe last project.

The port is absolutely in the middle of feckin' nowhere and not a bar to be seen (or visited).
Thought about getting a taxi, but then ten minutes before end of shift, the vessel moved off the quay to allow a container ship in!!!

So.....even if we'd decided to go out.....we were stuck!!!!!

Ah well........there's always next year!!!!

stockcar 25 April 2005 08:17 AM

StickyMicky 25 April 2005 08:20 PM

any north east peeps still after a "driving force pro" for GT4

silverlink pc world has sum in (2 left today)

picked one up myself
awsome steering wheel

martyrobertsdj 26 April 2005 12:35 AM

Cheers for the Birthday wishes chaps

Guess what I got from the wife (well....I paid for them, but they were "from" her)........??

Crystal side lights!!!!

Look better, but I went for the cheaper ones on eBay.....and you can tell !!
(well the wife couldn't) They look ok though.....definitely better.

Now I need a MY99-00 front bumper to complete the "transformation"....yes....I know I keep mentioning it, but I'm still looking ;) Will probably end up with one from DR Motorsport.
I actually found one in the local yellow paper and it was even the right colour, but when I got there, it had a big crack on one side, around and under the "splitter" bit. Thinking about it now....I should have bartered a bit and then got it repaired. He wanted £200 for it though and I wanted something I could just bolt on (for that money).

Oh yeah....crystal fogs too probably, but I'm not paying over £100 for lights that are crap to start with!!! I'd rather get myself a set of Cibie's or PIAA's and have some benefit. I might even just put covers on and leave it at that.

Sorry for the long winded post.....I'm outta here!!

Ninnybobs 26 April 2005 07:58 AM

Just in case anyone didn't know......Marty is looking for a Front Bumper for an MY99/00 Wagon

Not willing to pay much money though........'tight wad' ;)
