hello

:D Hi guys.

Well, I've finally managed to wrestle Phil Hotham's P1 away from him and am getting ready for the April meet (still second Thursday?).

But I am so disappointed I've been unable to sell my immaculate MY99 wagon. Any of your mates/wives/girlfriends looking to take the plunge and get a Scoob?

Advert is at

Be grateful for any help.

Cheers

Hi Typ 3R - yeah, Phil is going for an Sti8 and I'm the lucky sod who got his P1. Got it on Saturday. Think he's having second thoughts....! :D

TYP 3R 22 March 2004 07:55 PM

hi dave. phils (old) car is immaculate. although you might have to offer phil a lift to the next meeting as a good will gesture ;) happy driving.

Dave Blows 22 March 2004 08:48 PM

:D Think you might be right! Last saw hom tootling down the road in a Welpton's courtesy car - a Rover 400!

He's been told the Sti8 should arrive this week. Though that's what they said last week as well...

PUM, good luck with yer spay job, I know it'll be a top job!

Ads, have you got that thing plumbed in yet?

I have managed to get the spoiler off to fix the captive bolt, car looks mad without one but I'm considering ways of making all the nickable bits (spoiler, scoop, fog covers) snap/pop off, so I can bring 'em in when I go ninnies. Any ideas???

colby 22 March 2004 10:02 PM

Hello Everyone!

Haven't posted for about a week 'cos I've been busy :( I'm having serious withdrawal symptoms :D

Ads, how's the fmic coming on?

Pum, how's the paint-job going?

Steven, how's the rebuild going?

Bryn, any more pink bits to confess?

Alan, I'll be in touch ref the NBO convoy - I'm sure some of the Hull crew will be up for it so I'll get something organised and liaise with you for a joint convoy again:)

Big John, what's the weather like up there??????

Still haven't got a downpipe sorted :( But I have got some brand new 18" WRC1 wheels sorted at last :D:D:D:D Just need to get across to Preston to pick them up and then source some tyres to put on them!

Later :D
Steve

Hi Ads. Some interest in the Green machine, but nothing better than £7.5K and I not only need more but believe it's worth more. I shall hang in there for a while. Ho hum.

Housquake - it's a bit slow now I've taken all the mods off. Couldn't believe the difference! Now I've got Phil's P1, it makes it seem even slower.

On a scale of 0-10, if the standard Scoob speed/handling etc is 6 and the P1 9, my old beast when kitted out was a very respectable 8.

P20SPD 24 March 2004 07:50 AM

Steve, rebuild is going slowly at the moment.

You say you want a downpipe? How about mine?

Hayward and scott Bell Mouth 3" all the way, and already lagged?

£175

Steven

P20SPD 24 March 2004 03:24 PM

Steven - £175 ????? :o :o :o

Remember the conversation we had when you came through to the Hull meet about how you managed to barter someone down from about £1500 to £700 for something??? Well, with that in mind, how's about £75 ??????? :D:D:D Would it fit straight on my car? Or would I need a 2 1/2" bore?

new boy 24 March 2004 06:26 PM

steve mate..do it and feel the dark side
