Had the car in at lunch for a alignment. It's a little bit fiddly and tight in to adjust in the rear so we only had time for the rear and toe at the front. But we will take the front next week I hope.

Here is the result. The second picture is the alignment last year before all the modifications.

The camber in the rear is a little bit to much compared to what I had planed. The left side had -1.9 when we begun so we only adjusted the right side to match. I will adjust the camber at the front o about -2.1 - -2.2. But I have a nice increase in caster after my modifications. Last year i only had 2.9 as you can see and now I got about 5. I will get a little bit more after next times alignment because I've flipped the camber plates to adjust the camber and caster at the same time.

Nice! If you've got sticky tires you should be seeing a pretty massive cornering grip increase. Don't be too put off running that much rear camber. It'll keep the rear a bit more progressive in its breakaway characteristics because it will have a bit more grip. You won't have to worry about it snapping out on you unless you induce something. You've got a front end you can really lean on now. Should also have a bit more weight in the steering too.

I took a test run yesterday and the car grips a lot :). Running Toyo r888 right now, but it's only temporary til I get my new wheels then I will be running Bridgestone potenza re050a. The Toyo's are for the track.

I will leave the rear as it is and just add some camber and toe-in at the front.

-2 or -2.1 camber and about 3-4 toe-in I think.

Sounds good! The toyos will definitely like upwards of -2 deg camber up front. Ca. -2.5 is quite good (depending on how stiff your setup is). Though that might be a bit much for your street tires (as far as inside tire wear goes). You could mark your camber plates for a street and track setting. You'll just need to decide on a camber setting for the street, say -1.9 and then set your toe at a toe-in setting of a couple minutes. Then move your camber plates inwards until you get to say, 2 or 3 minutes toe out. Then mark that on your plate with a permanent marker. That will be your track setting. The idea is you just need to decide if you want to compromise more towards street or track.

I like a bit of toe-in in the rear. Makes for a more predictable rear end. On the GC/GD platform, as the rear compresses the wheels toe out. If you are at 0 toe or a few deg/minutes toe out static, when the out side rear wheel compresses in a turn you will get even MORE toe out leading to a very snappy/loose rear. If you run toe in static you can get a to a nice neutral 0 toe under compression. Giving you a more stable rear. I personally like a stable rear that only steps out when i induce it.

I won't go as far as -2.5 camber at front because thats to much for my street driving. I think I will go -2 on the front camber and let it be there even on the track. It's easy to get the settings of when you change the camberplates, even if you mark it up. Small movements can make a difference. And I mainly drive on the street anyways.


I got 2-3 toe in the rear right now so thats fine I think.


I agree on a stable rear as that gives you more confidence in the car. You don't have to be so afraid of exiting the corner backwards if you over do it.
