have to agree with milamber. i didn't pay over £1k for my camera equipment, for it to sit in a bag and let someone else take the pictures. which will, more than likely, cost more than just the development. plus the time spent on trial and error is worth it. c&c of the images will be worth it also as otherwise how will people learn.
apart from the learning, another reason for things like this is to meet fellow members. i still haven't met many and a day out and about is a great way to get to know them - one of the main reasons of the club i thought. another thing, my scoob isn't really worthy of a professional shoot. yes i think it's great but it pretty much looks like all the others in the magazines so i'd just like to get some PERSONAL images of it. don't get me wrong, you've made valid points there but it's not what the point of this day is really about. |

If all we were after was some decent quality photos then you are absolutely correct.
